Iran Election Protests

Many Iranians are angry with the results of their country’s election. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was re-elected. They feel the voting was unfair and the results inaccurate.

They have staged sit-ins and rallies to express their anger. At first, the protests were peaceful. However, as time passed, they became increasingly violent.
