Miami police say they’re investigating a fatal shooting that took place on the only bridge linking Miami and Key Biscayne and that was featured in a Facebook video.

The early morning shooting prompted officials to shut down the Causeway for a few hours until traffic could be rerouted around the scene, according to Key Biscayne police. Village operations continued normally, officials said.

Miami police spokesman Lt. Freddie Cruz says a bicyclist was shot Wednesday morning and later died at a hospital. Cruz says they’re interviewing a suspect. He said police were aware of the video of the event and that officials were reviewing it.

The video shows a motorcyclist approaching a group of bicyclists on the bridge. An argument begins, and at some point, the video-taking device seems to fall, blocking visuals. But someone can be heard yelling “Dispara, dispara!” Spanish for “Shoot, shoot!”

Cruz says police are investigating whether the shooter and victim knew each other.
